Since I wanted my logo to be media related, I decided on the clapperboard for the main subject of my logo, telling viewers immediately what the company is for, while also being simple.

I decided on having a smaller logo within the main logo, to add more detail. For this, I found a Google image of a wasp and manipulated the colour until it was a grey silhouette.

Based on the feedback I received I was a little torn between keeping my logo as it is and adding more colour / changing the font. Since the results of my feedback were all fairly equal, I decided to keep my logo as it is, however when the opportunity to make a logo next arises I will take more consideration when it comes to choosing fonts and colour schemes.

Usually when coming up with ideas for projects I focus firstly on the brief that is presented to us, and based on the topic, make a decision as to what type of media text I would like to create. Usually the topic itself makes it a lot easier for me to come up with ideas, especially after creating initial ideas mind maps and doing the research, for example for the time we has to create a music video to make people smile, I considered everything that made me and the people around me laugh, and brain stormed ways in which I could incorporate it into my project. Most of the time, it is quite easy for me to decide on cast and locations, since I know my way around Yeovil very well and am very well versed in "aesthetically pleasing" locations from photography. As well as this, I have a lot of friends who are always willing to help out in my projects, as well as the option to work alone if I wanted.
